The longer you are in a relationship the easier it is to take your partner for granted. Here are three really simple things to do that will help to keep you connected no matter how long you have been together.

1. Invite your husband on a date, by leaving an invite note on his pillow or send him an e-mail. Plan the evening, so that he doesn’t have to do anything except turn up. Call the babysitter if you need, choose the activity and or book the restaurant. Tell him what time you would like him to be ready by the door to be picked up. Yes, you’re driving tonight! And above all make sure you look drop dead gorgeous.

2. Buy your partner his favorite chocolates or treat and secretly put it in his workbag, so he will have a sumptuous surprise when she gets to work. They do say that the key to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Although if that really was true, with my cooking, I would be divorced by now!

3. If your days are usually chocked full of work and kids, plan a day date and take a walk by the beach, hike in nature or go to a park together. Chat, hold hands, listen and laugh. This will really help keep you intimate and fill your well up with love.
