Even though avocados contain 70% of its calories in fat they aren’t fattening. I eat an avocado a day and I’m telling you that it’s a complete misconception that fat will make you fat. I know it’s confusing because the word ‘fat’ has such a negative connotation.  But really it’s the sugar and processed carbohydrates that make you put on weight. You actually need fat to help your body function properly. If I was you, I would add avocados to your diet and if you want to cut down on anything, cut down on the bread, chips and sugar.
